Marsha and Martha. | Fond Farewells
It's always tough to bid adieu to great colleagues and friends, and doubly hard when it's two at once -- but alas we must. Marsha Wolf, our Donor Development Director and Martha Dale, our Finance and Operations Manager, will be moving on to new chapters in their respective lives. Marsha will be taking on the honor of being Bellevue Arts Museum's new Director of Development -- so she'll still be in the same orbit, just a different zip code! Our fastidious Finance and Operations Manager, Martha Dale, will be closing down her trusty Excel spreadsheets to spend more time with family and will be re-locating to the Mt. Baker foothills.
While we'll miss their ever-present good cheer, we'll at least have new AT ambassadors on the Eastside and Whatcom County. Please join us in thanking both Marsha and Martha for their years of dedicated service on behalf of artists. |
Join the Artist Trust Team
While both positions will remain open until filled, preference will be given to applications received before September 30, 2010.
If you'd like to be part of the dynamic team here at Artist Trust, please review the job descriptions to see if you have the required skills and experience to augment our fundraising efforts, or to keep our accounting procedures in tight order. We have great plans for the future and you could be part of them! |

Mike O'Connor, Lake Angeles, ONP, 2009. photo: Nina Noble | Meet the Artist: Mike O'Connor September 25, 2010 :: 1pm :: Westport 2009 Fellowship recipient Mike O'Connor will read original poetry at the Westport Timberland Library, as well as poems he translated from classical and modern Chinese. He recently published a memoir that recounts the days of his childhood in the region, and will be reading excerpts from the memoir as well. Artist Trust's Meet the Artist program is an integral component of the annual Artist Trust Fellowship Program. Every Fellowship recipient presents an event outside of their geographic area of residence or to a community that would not ordinarily have access to their work. Meet the Artist bridges our artistic community with the diverse communities in Washington State, increasing awareness about the vital roles the arts and artists play in our culture. |

News from Artist Trust Grant Recipients & EDGE Graduates
Congratulations to:
And check out:
"...a GAP grant I received in 2008 was extremely useful. I applied to help fund a research/recording trip to South India.... Besides the harder to quantify (and explain) inspiration and understanding I got out of the trip, I interviewed two Indian 78rpm collectors and got to spend time with their collections and thoughts."
