... Another challenge in experiencing great passion and pleasure in our sexuality arises when we choose (consciously or unconsciously) not to express our needs and desires. Eventually, because we are not receiving what we really want and need, we just give up and pretend we're not really interested anymore. When we say we've lost interest, there's a part of that statement that may be true and at the same time, deeper inside almost every one of us would love to have a great intimate relationship.
If you've "lost interest"...look deeper... is that really true?

From the Conclusion...
Creating a great relationship takes care and feeding... care and feeding of you...of your partner... and of the relationship itself.
You've probably heard it said, "relationships are like a garden." If you let the weeds of pain and resentment grow, your relationship will be full of pain and resentment, just as an un-weeded garden is full of weeds not flowers. If you want passion and joy - the flowers of love - you must keep making space for them by letting go of the past and forgiving what happens today.
If this isn't easy for you, get help. It's fundamentally important in the greatness of your relationship.
Then you must water your garden of love... you must take care of and honor yourself first. If you are empty (i.e. on the bottom of the priority list or exhausted from working so hard)... you don't have the capacity to receive the happiness and passion of relationship and you certainly can't support and honor your partner if you are empty. Then...celebrating the greatness of your partner will skyrocket the joy for each of you!
