Wine By Joe Pinot Noir, Oregon, 2006

wine by joe pinot A really lovely - fragrant Pinot Noir all delicate and feminine in style. The aromas are sweet red cherry, crushed purple flowers and mixed potpourri followed by blueberry and just a hint of forest floor and woodsy notes. Silky on the palate with vibrant cherry/berry fruit cedarbox and soft spices...Medium-bodied and fresh, easy drinking with a smooth finish.
Yum!

DeAngelis Rosso Piceno DOC, Marche Italy, 2007

de angelis rosso piceno Cherries and bright red berries, saddle leather and violets, hints of iodine and coffee grounds, sun-baked earth and forest floor with undertones of peppery spices and cedar. Medium-bodied and fresh with loads of tart, juicy red fruit - cherries and small red berries - tobacco and spice with great acidity and fine drying tannins on the finish.
Very good value!

Mission Hill 'Perpetua' Chardonnay, Okanagan Valley, 2006

perpetua In October 2008, Mission Hill launched two well kept secrets. An impressive red blend called Quatrain and this pewter labeled Perpetua. This is an elegant Chardonnay meant to age like those from Burgundy. It shows citrus and soft orchard fruit aromas, brown butter and toast with loads of minerality and citric flavours. The texture is creamy, the finish is long and clean.
Cellar worthy
Or...serve with white fish or pasta in lemon-butter sauce.
