You know the drill...
When uncle Albert comes over - the one who stomps his own grapes in the tool shed - you stock up on as many bottles for under $10 as you can find. Just remember which bottle you substituted your private stash into and chain it to your side.
But, for those of you who are fortunate enough to have wine appreciators in the family (or friends with similar fabulous palates) then you'll want to give the gift that they may:

a) share in a few cellar years
b) pour freely around the table
c) finally respect you for

After all, good wine really should be shared to be fully appreciated.

Or not...

 Protection for your pearly whites...
If you're giving the wine-give the protection too

Mi Paste My dental hygenist suggested this product when she found out that I swish and swirl a lot of wine.
Like fruit juice, wine has acidity which can break down the enamel on your teeth causing discoloration, sensitivity and pitting. For those of you who drink a lot of wine you know how easily your teeth turn black - much faster than ever before.
The Prospec MI Paste (I've heard it's similar to Tooth Mousse down under) is said to:
Strengthen tooth enamel
Reduce sensitivity
Buffer acids
Which means it coats and protects your teeth from acids and general wear while helping harden the enamel with special milk-derived proteins.
I use it at night and rub a pea sized amount on all of my pearly whites. Its a natural product so if you swallow it, don't worry and you may want to - it tastes great!
Comes in Melon (mine), mint, strawberry, tutti frutti and vanilla and you may order on-line if you can't get your dentist to order it in.
Prices vary but you are looking at about $20-$25 CND per 35ml tube but it lasts for a long time.
