Join us in thanking our local veterans
Veterans Day is the day we set aside to honor all American veterans, both living and dead. It is intended as a day to thank each veteran for their dedicated and loyal service to our country. We encourage you to join in the celebration of this day, November 11th, and to take a moment to ensure our veterans know how deeply you appreciate the sacrifices they have made in their lives to keep our country free.
The week of November 7th, Cascade Acupuncture Center will be offering our retail products, which are on sale this month, to our local veterans, at 20% off.

Schedule Your End of Year Treatments Now!
Be sure you have taken full advantage of your annual insurance allotment of Acupuncture and massage benefits before the end of the year. Most insurance companies renew their benefits on the first of January. Now is the time to schedule you remaining available treatments before your 2011 insurance coverage expires.

Giving Back
As part of our community involvement each month we have decided to honor and support at least one local non-profit organization. The organizations selected will be able to share who they are in our newsletter and all of their employees and volunteers receive a free Happy Hour treatment in our clinics during "their" month as a "thank you" for all they do.
Over the past several months we have been honoring different organizations which are now all housed under the parent organization The Next Door Inc. www.nextdoorinc.org.
This month, we are featuring: The Klahre House Alternative School.
The Klahre House Alternative School uses a combination of experiential and student-centered approaches to treatment and education in order to engage youth in their learning. Students enjoy class sizes of 5-8 students which allow their teachers to create hands-on individualized curricula that honor students' personal diversity and encourage them to explore their own passions while learning.
At the Day Treatment Center, professional staff members provide a safe and caring therapeutic environment where young people begin to heal. They use a variety of approaches, including many evidence-based groups, in working with young people.
For additional information, please contact David Dye, Treatment Services Manager at 541-436-0347 or davidd@nextdoorinc.org.
Do you have a local non-profit organization you would like to recommend we honor?
If so, please email us with their contact information!
