Calcasieu Parish Billboard Targets Litter Problem
Calcasieu Parish's 'No Excuse' billboard targets motorists on Ryan Street in Lake Charles.
The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury constructed this 'No Excuse' billboard with 100 items of litter collected by parish inmate crews. Installed in time for Mardi Gras, its purpose is to create an awareness of the parish's litter challenges and to encourage motorists to use the local litter hotline. The billboard debuted about the same time that Calcasieu Parish became the latest pre-certified Louisiana affiliate of KAB and joined our Keep Louisiana Beautiful family. Welcome!
