Greetings!

The maiden outing of the new fun diving group, Dive STL, was well attended.  If you are a FaceBook user, you may wish to join the group Dive STL, which was set up by our good friend Dave Coleman, a former Y-Kiki Instructor who is not currently officially affiliated with any shop but is one of our frequent customers and dives often.  He and Larry organized this outing and even provided a bountiful supply of snacks for surface intervals.  Like our group, they welcome all who wish to dive with them.

The deep diving conditions at Mermet this weekend were outstanding, with vis of 20-30 ft.  This was much appreciated, since Peg and I spent most of the weekend on the bottom in the deep end to really put her new DUI Drysuit w/ dry gloves to the test-and it lived up to all expectations as well as being beautiful.

Other firsts were David Freet's son making his first night dive, and enjoying seeing the bass feast on the little fish in the shallow water, and a new dive buddy making his first dives in a new set of double tanks, as well as being his first dives at Mermet.  Also, several Y-Kiki students made their first deep dive this weekend, in preparation for a Florida Keys trip with anticipated dives on the Spiegel Grove.

Looking forward to seeing y'all on our next outing--Table Rock Lake, Aug 7-8!
