Before we send out our Annual Fund mailing this year, here's a chance to donate online, saving paper and postage. For 21 years, Reaching Heights has mobilized volunteers and private resources to support excellence in our schools, and to tell the wonderful stories that happen daily in our classrooms.  Support from our donors allows us to do the work that shapes student lives for the better. We recently received a note that provides one example of our impact. A parent of a Heights High freshman wrote to share her pleasant surprise at how much confidence her son showed on the first day of marching band. Her son had attended our Heights Summer Music Camp and performed in our Middle School Honor Concert. She wrote:
 

His confidence "was due to the efforts of Reaching Heights. Not only did he already know, by face and name, many of the upperclassman musicians who were milling around, but he had longstanding friendships with them! They shared private jokes, clapped each other on the back and gently teased each other the way friends do. He felt immediately at ease and at home. Our community is incredibly fortunate to have the support of Reaching Heights and the vision of its leaders. I can't say "thank you" enough."
