Greetings to our 8,146 subscribers,  October is here already and the town is gearing up for another great high season ahead. Local shops and restaurants that have taken a short break during low season are preparing to re-open. Many of the town's local favorite digs re-open this month including Burrito Revolucion opening October 9th, Calypso and Ruben's are also preparing to re-open their doors to locals and tourists alike soon while more people can be seen out and about on the beach and cobblestone roads. Though the whether remains hot and humid, the change in season is becoming more obvious with the influx of visitors and returning residents who have escaped the heat over the last few months. It has been wonderful seeing familiar faces, old acquaintances and close friends return to Sayulita in just this last week. If you are among those returning to Sayulita soon, rest sure that the temperatures are expected to cool off by the end of the month while the rains have almost completely dissipated relieving folks of some of the humidity in the air.

Octubre ya llego y el pueblo se prepara para otra temporada alta maravillosa. Tiendas y restaurantes que se han encontrado cerrados volver�n a abrir incluyendo Burrito Revolucion que abre el 9 de octubre y Calypso y Ruben's abren sus puertas pronto en este mes mientras se ve mas gente por la playa y las calles.
Aunque sigue haciendo calor con humedad, se puede notar el cambio de temporada con el aumento de visitantes y residentes que han escapado el calor de estos meses regresar. Ha sido fant�stico ver caras reconocidas, viejas amistades y buenos amigos regresar al pueblo en esta corta semana. Si eres uno de los que regresan pronto, no te preocupes por el calor, pronto se refrescara para finales del mes y no hay mucha lluvia aliviando la gente de la humedad en el aire.

 The Sayulita Life design and programming team has been hard at work improving both the front and back end of Sayulita's community website. All work has been completed and tested just in time for the high season when traffic to the website can exceed over 5,000 visitors a day.
Here are a few of the improvements:
Updated Design: Our homepage has been modified to specifically cater to the interests of potential visitors considering Sayulita as a vacation destination. The new design and slideshow at the top of the page features most of our villages greatest attractions along with direct links for more information.
Rentals and Business Slideshows: Sayulita Life has completely transformed the picture/slideshow feature on all of our rental and business pages. Though the look and feel has not changed much, we shortened the pageload time by 90%. Now visitors can view these pages in record time!
Advertiser Login Area: If you are an advertiser on SayulitaLife.com, please login and check out the new and improved client section. It is now easier than ever before to change your webpages, monitor email submissions, and check/approve recommendations to your listings.

There is an awesome surf camp I go to that is right out front of Sayulita beach. I wanted to write about it, so I interviewed one of the families, The Hasburghs!
Cheri is one of the founders of the camp and is there every time cheering us on.

Pet of the Week: "Momma"

This young, happy girl was found with a one week old litter of 8 pups. Her pups are now adopted, and she is to be placed back on the streets. This simply isn't fair for such a wonderfully loving, social dog. Momma is in her first year of life, playful, loyal, and wants nothing more than to be involved in whatever you're doing. She is always ready to go! She also makes a good alarm, since she barks at strangers who enter the back of the clinic. She is never aggressive and interacts well with other dogs,cats, and children. Please help Momma find a place in this world. She really is a special girl!

Esta nena joven y feliz se encontro con una camada de cachorros de solo 8 semanas. Sus cachorros ya han encontrado hogares y tendra que regresar a las calles. No es justo para una perra maravillosa, amorosa y social. Momma tiene apenas un ano, es juguetona, leal y solo quiere participar en lo que quieras hacer. Siempre esta lista para aventuras. Es buena alarma para proteger la casa y ladra a gente desconocida que entra la clinica. Nunca es agresiva y socializa muy bien con otros perros, gatos y ninos. Favor de ayudar Momma a encontrar un hogar en este mundo. Es una perrita muy especial.
