Greetings to our 7,732 subscribers,  Happy Easter to all of our contributors and readers of El Sayulero. Sayulita's beaches and downtown areas are bustling with visitors, many from Guadalajara and other cities as Mexico celebrates Semana Santa this week. Sayulita experienced a day of overcast skies yesterday but that didn't stop the hundreds of beach-goers from making the most of the sand and surf. The downtown plaza has been alive with music and dancing these past couple of nights while bands play and local establishments become packed with customers. Read below on more about sayulita's busiest time of year and some local and visitor comments on Semana Santa.
If you are headed to the beach this weekend, please remember to clean up any garbage left behind and help keep Sayulita clean during this busy time of year. The Delegado's office and Sayulimpia have organized town and beach clean-up every day this week. Volunteers are needed and will meet at the Delegado's office on Calle Miramar at 5 PM.

Feliz Pascua a todos los contribuyentes y lectores de El Sayulero. La playa y el centro de Sayulita est�n llenos de visitantes, muchos de Guadalajara y otras ciudades ya que M�xico celebra Semana Santa esta semana. Sayulita tuvo un d�a nublado ayer pero eso no detuvo los cientos de vacacionistas que querr�an aprovechar del mar y la arena. La plaza durante estas noches esta viva con m�sica y gente bailando con bandas tocando y locales llenos de clientes. Si piensas ir a la playa este fin de semana, favor de recordar llevarte la basura en la playa y ayuda a mantener Sayulita limpio durante esta semana. Sayulimpia y la oficina del delegado han organizado una limpieza de playa y pueblo cada d�a esta semana. Necesitan voluntarios y se re�nen todos en la oficina del delegado en calle Miramar a las 5 PM.

This morning I walked down to the beach and found that the entire north side had become a campground. It seems that Sayulita is the new destination for college kids from all over Mexico, and I mean all over. One group had driven 20 hours from Monterrey! In case you're wondering just how many people are here--have a look...and get ready for a wild weekend! Esta manana camine por el lado norte de la playa y me di cuenta que toda la playa se habia convertido en un campamiento. Parece que Sayulita es el nuevo destino para los jovenes en Mexico de todos lados. Un grupo de estudiantes habian manejado 20 horas desde Monterrey! Si te preguntas cuantas personas hay aqui ahorita, miren estas fotos y preparense para un fin de semana de locura.
