King's Day is a traditional, Mexican holiday commemorating the arrival of the the Three Kings in Bethlehem, arriving with their gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh. Children receive gifts, as Christmas decorations are taken down to officially end the holiday season and to commence the new year. You may find delicious Roscas de Reyes, a sweet bread in a wreath shape, sold all over Mexico this time of year. Rocas de Reyes if often sold downtown in the plaza, in the local grocery stores or from the back of trucks all over Sayulita. Read article below for more about this special day and tradition. As Sayulita's high tourist season is in full swing, the town is bustling with visitors and locals alike, the beaches have been busy and the surf has picked up over the last week. With the incredibly warm weather we've been experiencing, the sunny days and pleasant nights have been perfect, compared to a colder year last season. Even the water is refreshing, though not too cold for swimmers, surfers and other water sport enthusiasts. Feliz ano 2012 a todos los lectores y contribuyentes. Sayulita termina las festividades con el dia de los reyes magos hoy. El dia de los reyes magos es una tradicion mexicana para recordar los reyes de Belen, que llegaron con regalos de oro, incienso, y mirra. Los ninos reciben regalos, es el dia en que se quitan las decoraciones navidenas y oficialmente acaban los dias festivos y comienza el ano nuevo. Se puede comprar deliciosas rocas de reyes vendidos por todo mexico durante esta epoca del ano. Se vende roscas de reyes aqui en Sayulita, en la plaza en las tiendas y detras de camionetas por todo el pueblo. Lee el articulo abajo para mas sobre esta tradici�n.
La temporada alta en Sayulita esta en plena marcha y el pueblo esta muy vibrante y las olas mas grandes esta semana. El clima es muy agradable, hace mas calor que el ano pasado en estas fechas y el agua es refrescante, no tan fria para los surfos, nadadores y para hacer otros deportes en el mar.

Speed Bumps Installed on Av Del Palmar
