It's been a very festive week in Sayulita as the town celebrated Christmas beginning with Noche Buena (Christmas Eve) last Saturday. There were many family reunions, dinner parties, busy restaurants, firecrackers, and music all over town. I hope everyone near and far has enjoyed and is continuing to enjoy the holiday season as 2011 comes to an end. The main beach in Sayulita has been full this past week as many tourists and national visitors are spending their holidays in Sayulita. Ha sido una semana muy festiva en Sayulita ya que el pueblo celebro  Navidad a partir de Noche Buena el s�bado pasado. Hubo reuniones de familias, fiestas, restaurantes llenos, cuetes y m�sica por todo el pueblo. Espero que todos cerca y lejos han disfrutado y siguen disfrutando de estas fiestas culminando con el ano 2011 . La playa principal de Sayulita ha estado llena ya que muchas turistas y visitantes nacionales  pasan sus vacaciones en Sayulita. As a foreigner, the purchase of a Mexican property can seem like an ordeal because the process seems so "different" and "foreign."  In reality, yes, the process is different, and it is very do-able. Today, I've chosen to write about the important subject of "wills in Mexico."  If you have a will in the United States or Canada it will not necessarily cover your Mexican assets. A probate court from the United States does not have legal jurisdiction to property outside of the country. Because there is no jurisdiction, it is best that you make a Mexican will for your titled Mexican property and assets.  More

Any environmentally conscious human is always hoping they can do something to help save the planet. We all are aware of current situations in our daily lives where environmental quality is being threatened by the influences of humans and our actions. When it comes to coral reefs, it seems like an overwhelming situation since the rampant decline of reef habitats is alarming. However, there are some positive actions that one can do, and this is happening locally in our area. Several local Sayulitenses, along with other folks from the Bay of Banderas, have formed a Reef Check team and are monitoring the local reefs we have here in the Bay, specifically in the Marietta Islands.  More

Entonces fui encantado cuando Florrie McCallum se ofreci� �ltima temporada a tomar nuestra base de datos de la asociaci�n y trabajos de innter. Como una organizaci�n de voluntarios, nosotros llevamos a cabo nuestros programas principalmente con apoyo de asociaciones, boletos de donativos y venta a nuestro Fiesta-Recogedor de fondos anual. Para aceptar que dinero toma conocimientos administrativos, y nosotros debemos mantener transparencia. �Estas cosas necesitan tener una base de datos buena, algo nosotros nunca tuvimos realmente -- hasta que Florrie ascendiera al plato! I like to get off the beach sometimes and look at Sayulita from different places. I live 2 blocks from the beach, so it's an effort, but I'm always happy when I do. I think Sayulita looks great from every angle!

Me gusta salir de la playa y ver Sayulita de diferentes lugares. Vivo a dos cuadras de la playa, asi que a veces tengo que hacer el esfuerzo pero cada que lo hago me alegro. Creo que Sayulita se ve bonito de todos los angulos.
