Last month, the Costa Verde International School initiated an ESL (English as a Second Language) program to help promote the international, multicultural and bi-lingual community coming together. The English language classes began last year, with four students, relates Nancy Avila, the language programs co-ordinator. It was in September of this year that the classes really kicked into gear, with 45 students enrolling in the program and three teachers assigned to various levels of English. September classes were offered free of charge to get community members interested. The classes, which are open to anyone over twelve, will continue throughout the year at $400 pesos/month.  More  

El mes pasado la escuela internacional Costa Verde inicio un programa de ESL (ingles como segundo idioma) para unir la comunidad internacional, multicultural y bi-lingue. Las clases de ingles empezaron el ano pasado con solo cuatro alumnos cuenta Nancy Avila, la co-oridandora del programa. En septiembre de este ano las clases entraron en pleno apogeo con la inscripcion de 45 estudiantes y tres maestras para esenar varios niveles de ingles. Las clases durante el mes de septiembre fueron gratuitas para aumentar el interes de miembros de la comunidad. Las clases abiertas a cualquiera que tenga mas de 12 anos van a continuar durante todo el ano a un costo de solo $400 pesos al mes.  Mas  

Following the tragic accident that occurred on September 27th at the intersection on the north side of the traffic bridge, Town Delegate, Noe Plascenia Garza and Jos� Mora Cervantes, of the Sayulita Cultural Radio station 88.1 FM, went directly to the Municipal President of Bahia de Banderas, Rafael Cervantes Padilla, to discuss traffic safety in Sayulita. New speed bumps have been placed at the foot of the traffic bridge on Calle Revoluci�n, as well as at the intersection of Calle Revoluci�n and Manuel Rodr�guez Sanchez.  More

In the midst of the heavy summer heat and rain, Sayulita Investment Realty (SIR) decided to move to a new office. After five years at 43 Avenida Revolucion, across from the Choco Banana takeout window, SIR has made a move five doors down the street. The new location, previously occupied by Annie Bananie's Jewelry, was given a facelift with a new paint job, new floors, a wider sidewalk and many interior changes. The 25-year old house, next to the Ejido building, is looking very different than a few months ago. Roger and Linda Burten say they feel quite comfortable in the new space, which has a conference room and tropical backyard, which is perfect for meetings in the garden. The Burtens are currently hosting their ten-city "Invest in Safe Sayulita" promotional tour, which kicked off on October 16th in Portland, Oregon. 

En medio del calor y la lluvia del verano, Sayulita Investment Realty (SIR) decidi� cambiar su ubicacion. Despu�s de cinco a�os en 43 Avenida Revoluci�n, frente a Chocobananaa, SIR hizo una mudanza a cinco puertas por la calle. El local antiguamente utilizado por joyer�a Annie Bananie, fue repintado, le pusieron pisos nuevos, se ampli� el espacio y se hicieron muchos cambios en el interior. Esta casa de 25 a�os de edad, junto al edificio del Ejido, se ve muy diferente a hace unos meses. Roger y Linda Burten dijeron que se sienten muy a gusto en el nuevo espacio, que cuenta con una sala de conferencias y jard�n tropical donde se puede realizar reuniones. En este momento, los Burtens est�n presentando la gira de promoci�nal "Invierte en Sayulita", que comenzo el 16 de octubre en Portland, Oregon.
