Mexi-go, the Canadian magazine specializing in retirement, vacationing, real estate and investments in Mexico will feature the town of Sayulita and other locales along the Riviera Nayarit in the upcoming fall issue of Mexi-Go! set to be released October 15th. The fall issue will focus on beaches of Mexico and include our very own Sayulita beach highlighting some the characteristics, culture and lifestyles of Sayulita.  More

Sayulita Lions Club, a subsidiary of the Lions Club in Las Varas Costa del Chile, was formed recently in July. The Lion's Club goals to promote humanitarian aid through friendship operates worldwide in more than 200 countries and community members of Sayulita can now join the local Lions Club headed by local residents Mario Gonzalez and Martha Tovar.  More

In many cultures around the world, birds are seen as messengers from the spirit world, and people often feel that they are identified with a particular kind of bird, and come to understand that this bird has something to teach us. It used to be that I considered the Black Crow as my totem bird, and I felt him always sitting on my left shoulder, constantly judging and mocking me. But since moving to Sayulita and living at the beach, I've come to dismiss the cynical Crow, and I rely now more on the the Pelican, who although he sometimes has a difficult time taking off from the water, still manages to get airborne. The water is a symbol of emotions, which often weigh us down, so the pelican teaches us how to free ourselves of all that would weigh us down, and not become overcome by emotion.   More
