Greetings 6,943 El Sayulero Subscribers,
After some time away and enjoyable vacations I took recently, it is nice to be back in Sayulita. Though the days are hot, humid and sticky, we have had comfortable sleeping conditions with nighttime rainfall and cool breezes. The beach is peaceful, and the water is warm and inviting. It's not surprising at all to hear Sayulita residents say its their "favorite time of year," with more time available to spend with friends and family or to simply swing in a hammock while enjoying a cool drink.
 The end of July brings many benefits to Sayulita along with the rainfall. The surrounding hillsides are lush with green foliage, plants, flowers and trees; if you are in Sayulita this time of year, make the most of fresh fruits grown locally, such as mangoes, lychees, pineapples and limes. Many of our writers and contributors are also enjoying some vacation time and share their stories in the following articles below. Thank you again to our contributors near and far. Saludos a los 6,943 lectores de El Sayulero, Despu�s de unas vacaciones que acabo de tomar, es bueno estar de regreso en Sayulita. Aunque los d�as est�n calorosos, h�medos y pegajosos, las noches han sido c�modas para dormir con la lluvia fresca y poquito viento que pasa por el pueblo. La playa es tranquila, el agua esta caliente y atrayente. No es una sorpresa escuchar de residentes en el pueblo que ahorita es su �poca favorita del a�o en Sayulita con mas tiempo para pasar con la familia y amigos o simplemente para acostarse en una hamaca con una bebida refrescante. Finales de julio llega con muchos beneficios aparte de las lluvias. Las colinas alrededor del pueblo est�n verdes y exuberantes con plantas, flores y arbustos. Si est�s en Sayulita ahorita aprovecha de las frutas que se cultivan aqu� localmente como los mangos, lichis, pi�as, y limones. CFE Improves Electrical Posts in Sayulita

 The Commision Federal de Electricidad (CFE) also known as Mexico's electrical company, has installed brand new concrete electrical posts, new electrical cables and transformers along Calle Ni�os Heroes and Calle Revoluci�n. Local neighborhoods in these areas experienced intermittent power outages that lasted over a period of two days. The CFE has improved the power cables and posts to better provide electricity to homes and businesses in Sayulita during the tropical storm season. More

 Last week as I was enjoying my beach walk down to the north end, I saw a girl exercising. While I try to meditate or let go on these walks, as I approached her, I realized this walk was to be more about releasing knowledge than releasing energy. She was a sweet-faced Mexican teenager with what I call a 'tortilla & beans' figure - meaning thicker throughout and on the chubby side. She had her feet buried in the sand and was doing tons of situps. More
