JILL SYMES EXHIBITION

Fragments of Landscape

Opening Saturday 8th May 3-5pm

until 29th May

In her 5th exhibition with Kazari, this exhibition will feature landscape paintings on clay and recent studio works. click for more information

In a direct intuitive manner, Jill Symes creates three dimensional landscapes using clay slabs. The sculptural forms then become a "canvas" for painting with slips, before glazing and firing. These paintings on clay are her response to her surroundings and feelings when connecting with the natural world.
