JANUARY 2011 |
|
Greetings!
 | John Bacon, JD PPGGNY President |
Happy New Year!
We end 2010 on a positive note with membership growing and over 140 attendees at our December 15 Luncheon. In addition, the Masters' Forum was virtually a standing-room-only event. Your feedback about these events was very positive and encouraging -and we have more in store for you in the coming New Year.
We will launch the New Year with top-notch speakers for our January Luncheon and Seminar, with topics that you've told us are important to most of you: tax policy (the luncheon) and marketing of planned gifts (the seminar).
Future luncheon topics will include how to use electronic media and social networking tools, more in-depth gift planning topics, a wrap-up of the 4-part ABC of Gift Planning seminar series, and, of course our annual day-long conference, New York Philanthropic Symposium (NYPPS) 2011. Read more about these below and on our website as event information is updated.
We serve you, our members and friends, so please keep your comments, suggestions, and inquiries coming to me at jbacon@nypl.org or the PPGGNY office. I look forward to seeing you soon.
