Greetings! The fourth brand featured in the Motorcycle Madness series is Bobster. Bobster Eyewear joined SafetyGlassesUSA.com in the Summer of '06, and while the line has been steady, it just recently exploded with a plethora of hot new styles.
Bobster is not exclusive to motorcycle riders. Because many of their styles are easily customizable to suit changing environments and wearer requirements, Bobster eyewear is popular among a variety of sporting and leisure activity enthusiasts.
Read on to learn about the many favorable features Bobster has to offer in their very reasonably priced eyewear.

Convertible Eyewear - Many Bobster styles are considered "convertible". They may begin as sunglasses or goggles, but include a strap and temples to easily convert from one form to the other. With most models, the parts simply attach or detach near the temple hinge. This is convenient for riders who need the security and seal of a goggle, but want the stylish look of sunglasses. It's a true 2-in-1 solution. Bobster Convertibles: Ambush, BlackJack II, Drifter, Gunner, Road Hog, Road Hog II, RoadMaster, SpekTrax, Sport & Street I and II, XRH
Foam Gaskets - Keeping wind and debris out of the eyes is the primary function of most riders' eyewear. Bugs in the mouth is another problem entirely. We can't help there, except to suggest keeping it closed. But back to the eyes. Bobster models that include foam gaskets or seals on the inside of the frame are preferred among most riders for their wind and debris blocking abilities. Sometimes these gaskets are removable, allowing glasses to take on a sleeker, more fashionable look. Closed Cell foam is firmer and generally more weather and chemical resistant. It is often notched to allow slight airflow, which helps reduce fogging. Open Cell foam is generally lighter, softer, and more absorbant. It usually creates a better seal as it comfortably conforms to one's face.
Interchangeable Lenses - Including multiple lenses of varying tints was a brilliant idea from Bobster. Some riders travel day or night in nearly any weather, and they require appropriate lenses for different conditions. These styles include multiple replacement lenses: Airlock I & II, BlackJack II, Drifter, Gunner, Phoenix, Raptor I and Raptor II, Road Hog I & II, Shield, SpekTrax, Sport & Street I and II, Stinger.

Photochromic Lenses - For those who desire the ability to wear their eyewear dawn to dusk, blue skies or gray, but are not interested in manually changing lenses, photochromic lenses are the solution. A chemical reaction to UV (ultraviolet) light causes a filter in the lens to gradually darken with exposure, and lighten again without. This provides an effortless way to optimize your eyewear on or off the road. Styles with Photochromic lenses are: Drifter, Fat Boy, Gradient, Gunner, Hooligan, Igniter, Invader, RoadMaster.
Polarized Lenses - We cover polarized lenses frequently, but a refresher can't hurt. Bright, bothersome glare coming from oncoming traffic, ice, water, or your own bike or vehicle can be a real problem that causes eye fatigue and worse, long term conditions. A polarized filter in the lens reduces or blocks this glare from reaching your eyes in its harmful state. Styles with Polarized lenses include: Defender and Solstice I & II.
