SEAWA Groundwater
Meet Karen Saffran, Chair of the IWMP Steering Committee...

For nine years, I worked as a limnologist (freshwater scientist) with the Alberta Government in Edmonton.  For the past nine years, I have been living and raising a family in Medicine Hat.  Together, these experiences provide me with a good background for contributing to SEAWA's integrated watershed management planning process.  It's great that I can use my previous training to help my current community!
