Greetings!

Welcome to the November edition of Ontrack.

It's hard to believe that it is already mid November and we are starting to make plans for our Christmas holidays, and ultimately the new year ahead. It's also hard to believe that as business owners or as individuals, we often spend more time planning our holidays than we do making business plans or personal financial plans - unbelievable huh!

It is my personal belief that if some of the skills we applied to strategically mapping out our holidays were applied to developing a business or financial plan, the results would be better than the best holiday we've ever had.

So with the focus on planning, we are excited to unveil a new planning tool known as TRUST which is really just an easy first step towards the development of a plan for your business or personal financial affairs. This month we unveil the Business Improvement version of TRUST to be followed next month with the Personal Financial Health Check version. With TRUST there really is no excuse for a lack of planning, so go ahead, click on the link in the related article below, complete the questionnaire and receive your complimentary report and action plan to vastly improve your finances - on us.

We are all about making it easy - so why not register for one of our complimentary upcoming events focused on Cashflow or Leadership.

Planning is essential and it needs to be easy - we think we have the solution!

Now back to planning those holidays ....

Have you conducted a Business Performance Review lately?
TRUST
This is our brand new business planning tool, TRUST. This tool will help us assess your business, identify areas for improvement and provide you with an in-depth customised report and action plan.

And just in case you are wondering what you can plan for as a business owner, how does revenue growth, improved profit and cashflow, improved business value, access to finance, succession planning, tax minimisation and asset protection sound? There is so much that can be done to improve your financial circumstances and this is just the tip of the iceberg. "Keeping you ontrack" is our work and we would love to work with you to get those plans in place.

If you are a business, we are offering you a complimentary
Trust Business Performance Review. Simply fill out the TRUST Survey prior to
2nd December and we'll get your report and action plan to you before Christmas.

This will help make 2012 a big year for growth.

We are so confident that we'll be able to find an improvement opportunity in your business that in the event we are unable to deliver on our promise, we'll shout you a dinner to the value of $100.

Tips11 Tips for business owners to start 2012 with a bang
  1. Come to our Cashflow Strategy Workshop on 28th NovemberFireworks
  2. Keep a close eye on that debtor list and chase overdue accounts from day one. Collecting money owed to you is good business - your customers want your service so they need to make payment.
  3. Assess your products and services mix and adjust to appeal to your customer's requirements over the Christmas and New Year period. Why not set up an annual plan that is "seasonally" compatible?
  4. Have a look at your pricing structures to ensure you always remain competitive and profitable. Proactively respond to your competitor price changes and try to be one step ahead.
  5. Assess your stock levels to make sure you can satisfy customer demands. Identify slow moving stock that can be rebadged as "end of year sales" items or packaged into "the perfect Christmas gift for ....".

Find out about Trauma Cover and enjoy that satisfaction of having all bases covered.

Trauma Cover pays an agreed tax-free lump sum on diagnosis if you suffer a serious illness or injury that is covered in the plan you take out. The lump sum payFamilyment can help you make the adjustments to your lifestyle that you may either want, or need to make, after suffering a trauma event. This is also known as 'Critical Illness' or 'Recovery' Insurance.

As advances in medicine and technology continue, more people are surviving trauma events where in the past they may not have. And with people living longer, your chance of suffering a trauma event is increased. With this increase, along with the likelihood of your survival, you will want to have a plan in place to maintain your lifestyle and financial independence.
