Winning Edge Seminar - The ABCD's of Sport Supplements
The Alberta Sport Development Centre - Calgary Region's Winning Edge Seminar will unveil some of the truths behind The ABCD's of Sport Supplements, including sport drinks, antioxidants and creatine supplementation. The seminar, presented by Jill Parnell, PhD - Assistant Professor, is open to all athletes, coaches, parents, officials and sport administrators.

New Board of Directors
Sport Calgary's Annual General Meeting held Thursday March 22, welcomed newly elected Directors, Jan Bloemraad, Dan Fournier, Paul Hagel and Jeremy Tuff. The four new Directors will be joining Mike Urquhart, Gord Smith, Christine Laverty, Evan Dann and Sue Cunningham - appointed by The City of Calgary, to form the new Board of Directors.
A big thank you to our retiring Directors, Lew Hayes, Scott Hayes, Karla Karch and Kathy Urquhart for their contribution to Sport Calgary and sport in our city.
