Thursday, September 15, 2011 Calgary TELUS Convention Centre 7:00 am - 9:00 am The Mayor's Sport Breakfast provides a great opportunity for business community to connect with the sport community, aspiring and high performance athletes in supporting a common vision that sport is integral to quality of life, community well being, and economic prosperity in Calgary.
Proceeds of your support will help us to continue All Sport One Day, a free day of sport discovery for 1500 children ages 6-12.

BUSINESS AND SPORT EXCELLENCE AWARD

This award recognizes and celebrates a business that provides outstanding, innovative, consistent support to sport in Calgary. We will recognize a corporation that proactively supports sport by providing funding and/or other support to sport in Calgary. Business support has an important impact in our sport community, honour their contribution through the Business and Sport Excellence Award.
Nominate a great organization online by August 21, 2011.
Past winners include ARC Resources, Cardel Homes, EnCana Corporation, Intact Insurance and Tim Horton's.

CALL FOR ARTISTS
"WHEN SPORT MEETS ART" EXHIBITION
|

We are calling for artists to submit paintings of sport (maximum of five pieces per artist) to our selection committee by Sunday, August 21. The theme of the exhibit is 'Active for Life'. Paintings must adhere to one of the categories of submission and be at least 24" x 18" plus frame. Art will be displayed on an easel at the 7th Annual Mayor's Sport Breakfast for over 350 guests, specifically Corporate Calgary and High Performance Athletes.
