Tangipahoa Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau!
The first few cool fronts have moved through Tangipahoa Parish, giving way to crisp mornings and warm afternoons. Just as the seasons change, so does the focus of Tangi Tourism. We are fazing out of water-related fun and into campfire themed entertainment. November is the traditional wrap-up for the fall festival season. However, there is still more festival fun to be had. This weekend alone we have Swamp Pop Music Festival, 15-mile Yard Sale, Antique Trade Days, SLU Homecoming, the opening weekend for the Renaissance Festival, and more. There is no excuse for boredom this weekend or for the rest of the year. Be sure to check the Tangi Tourism calendar of events to plan your next adventure. We'll see you out and about. Sincerely,
Betty C. Stewart

Tangi Tourism has seen a huge influx of international tourists traveling the streets of the Parish. On a nearly daily basis, the employees rush to gather extra water and drip additional pots of coffee when a motorcoach drives up. "It's fun to meet the bus-loads of tourists. Most are enjoying their first trip to the South and for many it's their first time in the US." says Dana Short, Visitor Center Supervisor. "We've had visitors from England, Germany, and Australia just during the past couple of weeks. They're very gracious and love Louisiana".

The Tangipahoa Parish Convention and Visitors Bureau building is designed for easy parking and navigation for motorcoaches, RVs, and vehicles of all shapes and sizes. Stop by to see what's new. Perhaps you'll meet some of our new motorcoach friends.

The staff will greet you with a smile, provide you with a good night's sleep, and send you on your way after a hot breakfast.
