Who's in Town?
The summer was a busy season for Tangipahoa Parish. Basketball and baseball tournaments were in full swing. Thanks to the great local supporterswho bring the tournaments home to Tangi!

Last week, you may have seen boys of all ages in baseball uniforms. Ponchatoula hosted two Southern Regional Dixie Baseball Tournaments and Independence was home to the Dixie Pre-Majors World Series.
Congratulations to the Ponchatoula Dixie Angels for winning their Dixie National Title in Virginia!
Tangi Tid Bits
Filming is big business for Louisiana and Tangiphoa Parish is no exception. Currently, the staff of Tangi Tourism is working with 3 Location Managers or Scouts to help them find the perfect locations for filming. Additional assistance guides the "movie folks" through permit procedures, security requirements, and overall interaction with residents and elected official alike. Be sure to keep your eyes open as you never know which stars you'll see roaming the streets of our community.
