GTS Information
Graduate Program Coordinators:
You may access the new GTS Resource that diagrams the steps to be taken as you view your GTS report.
GTS reports can now be found on SharePoint - under the "Commencement" tab --every Monday. Note: every Monday the GTS report is refreshed and the previous report is not archived. If you would like to retain a copy of the previous GTS report, you will need to print or save them prior to the next Monday's refresh.
If this is your first visit to the Institutional Effectiveness SharePoint site, you will need to authenticate your login. Make sure to enter your entire UST email address (including @stthomas.edu) and your network password. This validation works for UST network computers. If you are using an off-campus computer, you will be asked to validate your login each time you attempt to access the SharePoint site. If you have any questions please contact Terri Topness at tltopness@stthomas.edu.

Updating Curriculum in Banner
Do you use SGASTDN and SFAREGS to update programs, majors, minors or concentrations? Then, please read on....
When making changes either on SGASTDN or SFAREGS to programs, majors, minors or concentrations, please review the entire record for accuracy before you make changes and after. For example, when making changes to a student's curriculum, think of the effective term of the changes, and whether existing programs, majors, minors and concentrations should remain active. Things that you should consider:
- If there is a record with active priority one and priority two programs, and you need to change the priority one program, confirm that the priority two program should remain active. If not, then remove the second priority effective with the change term of the new priority one program.
- Check all of the majors, minors and concentrations. Do all of those need to be active as of the new effective term? If not, then make sure to remove those effective with the new change term.
- Priority two programs will hang on to a record and can be easily missed. Watch for those.
- A student's awarding of their degree can be delayed if there are erroneous majors, minors or concentrations hanging on the record.
Thank you for taking extra care when working with the curriculum in Banner. If you have any questions, please contact Linda Dorn at ljdorn@stthomas.edu.
