Please see the articles below regarding a new self-service report in Cognos and the new location for your Faculty Load reports.  
Cognos Self Service Report
 
This is a report that was made available for departments/staff to run a list of active students by current term and future terms only. (After a term is over it is no longer available to run in self-service. If a department needs lists of their alumni, they need to contact the Alumni Office).

Types of data in this report:

  • Majors/Minors
  • Student information
  • Level, Class
  • Program(s) and major field(s) of study
  • and much more 

 
New location for Faculty Load Reports
 
There is a new home within Cognos for the Faculty Load reports.  To access your faculty load reports:
  • Login to Cognos
  • Click on the ACADEMIC AFFAIRS folder (this is new)
  • Run the Faculty Load report with the desired parameters (version, academic year, optional prompts).

Click here to view full documentation.  Also, remember that faculty load data entry for 201210 and 201220 is due by the 10th day of Spring term on February 10th.  

Resources to Locate and Request Data
Did you know that there are a plethora of reports available to you at your fingertips?  In fact, those statistics, trends and counts that you need are probably already housed within the Institutional Effectiveness SharePoint site (accessible from the website links below). 
 
Explore the Academic Reporting Center website to view the following types of reports:
  • Data Factbooks
  • Retention
  • Tommie Almanac
  • Census
  • And others

Review the Institutional Research and Analysis website to view the folowing types of resources:

  • Faculty evaluaton information
  • A variety of Institutional surveys
  • Institutional presentations made by members of Institutional Effectiveness
