University of St. Thomas
Fall 2011 Grade Report

Colleagues:

Below you will find a link to a grade report Institutional Effectiveness has developed in order to provide you with a tool to monitor the progress of grade submissions in your college, school, or department. This report includes only sections that do not have 100% of the grades entered. In other words, a section that has all of the grades entered will not show up on this list. This report will be updated each morning to reflect the previous day's work.

As you can see from the report, there are a little over 11,000 grades (31%) that need to be entered prior to this evenings deadline. As Michael Jordan indicated in an email last month, the timely entry of grades is critical so that we may begin to identify pre-requisite problems, assign and manage probation and dismissal students, award honors, manage waitlists, etc. Ideally, we would begin working on these processes tomorrow morning; however, we will wait until tomorrow morning's report to make this decision as large numbers of missing grades will delay this processing. We ask that you use tomorrow's report to identify instructors who have yet to enter grades and encourage them to do so as soon as possible.
