Not Participating (NP)
Commencement Notations
Graduate Program Coodinators: do you have December graduates who are NOT participating in the May 2012 commencement ceremony? If so, remember to enter the NP (not participating) code in SHADEGR prior to December 31.
It is important that this code be entered now because:
1. Once J-Term begins you will no longer be able enter this code for your December graduates.
2. This information is essential in planning for our May commencent ceremony.
Some quick reminders:
You do not need to enter or update any codes on SHADEGR if your December graduates are participating; the system will assume students plan to participate. You only need to update this code for non-participants.
What if you have a December graduate who contacts you after December 31 to indicate they will not participate in May commencement? Just contact Barbara Rath in the Registrar's Office at barath@stthomas.edu. She can update this code for you even though you may no longer have access to do so.
