A Quick Note About This Newsletter

Welcome to the first of many newsletters with a focus on data and reporting at UST from the office of Institutional Effectiveness.  You will receive newsletters on a regular basis highlighting different types of reports and resources.  Please feel free to forward this newsletter to your constituents and invite them to join the mailing list. 
The Census (10th day) Report is Available
 
The Census (10th day) reports are available for Summer (201130) and Fall (201140) terms.  Follow the steps below to access the Census reports.
  • Click here to access the Academic Reporting Center's website   
  • Scroll and click on the Census link to access the SharePoint folder of reports

Note: The Census SharePoint site folder is open to anyone with a current UST email address.

 

If this is your first visit to the Institutional Effectiveness SharePoint site, you will need to authenticate. Make sure to enter your entire UST email address (including @stthomas.edu) and your network password. This validation is good for UST network computers. Off-campus, you will be asked to validate each time you attempt to access the SharePoint site.

 

Types of data in this report:

  • Average Credit Load
  • Headcount (in a variety of categories)
  • Undergraduate Retention
  • Previous Year Comparisons
  • Trends
  • and much more

Resources to Locate and Request Data
Did you know that there are a plethora of reports available to you at your fingertips?  In fact, those statistics, trends and counts that you need are probably already housed within the Institutional Effectiveness SharePoint site (accessible from the website links below). 
 
Explore the Academic Reporting Center website to view the following types of reports:
  • Data Factbooks
  • Retention
  • Tommie Almanac
  • Census
  • And others

Review the Institutional Research and Analysis website to view the folowing types of resources:

  • Faculty evaluaton information
  • A variety of Institutional surveys
  • Institutional presentations made by members of Institutional Effectiveness
 If you have a unique request, and cannot find the information that you need on our SharePoint site, please click here to fill out an online form.
