Dear Friends,
From our families to yours, we wish you a beautiful holiday season filled with moments to remember.
We hope that one of those moments will be sharing a meal and an evening of remarkable music with Stu, Jim, Steve and Chip at the Diamond W Chuckwagon in Wichita. Our Christmas show is full of old favorites and some cowboy originals that will warm your soul.
We have seven holiday shows left, including one just added for this Thursday December 8th. Available dates are this week - December 8,9, and 10; and Thursday-Sunday December 15-18. We'd love to see you.
As the year comes to an end, we want to say THANK YOU for being in our lives and sharing a love and appreciation for great Western Music.
Happy Trails,
The Diamond W Family |
An Orchestral Premiere for the DWW Christmas Show Last week the Wranglers were honored to be part of "Christmas Express", a benefit concert for the Shriners Children's Hospitals that was organized by Jeff Breault, Joe Sauer, and many others.
It was a treat to perform in Wichita's historic Orpheum Theatre; the highlight for our guys was the opportunity to play with a talented chamber orchestra assembled by Cindy Thompson of Newman University. Ten musicians, playing the wonderful arrangements of Dan Racer from Friends University, moved the harmonies of the Diamond W Wranglers into a new dimension. We hope to develop this musical partnership much more in 2012, and would love to tour the Christmas show around Kansas. Stay tuned!

Why do YOU love the Diamond W?
When Kansas! Magazine put the Diamond W Wranglers at the top of "20 Reasons We Love Kansas", we asked why YOU love them:
Mike Trier and his wife Kathy from Cincinnati , Iowa have traveled to Kansas several times just to see the Diamond W Wranglers. Mike wrote:
"The Wranglers are blessed wth exceptional talent and perform with genuine cowboy attitude. When we've seen other highly rated western music groups, the performers' egos dominated the show. The Wranglers' performance is about the music and the joy it brings those who are lucky enough to experience it.
"No one does western music better than the Wranglers ... They show respect for the music and leave you with a warm feeling that reminds you that goodness still exists. It is almost like a spiritual experience."
Amen, Mike! Thank you so much for those great comments.
