Know, Like & Trust

It is said that we do business with people we know, like, and trust. Now, more than ever, consumers are searching for relationships and value recommendations from others about those they choose to do business with. Would you trust an online recommendation from someone who you've never met about a company or person you're looking to do business with, or would you rather hear a personal testimonial from a fellow chamber member?

Community Involvement can't be faked or achieved overnight, and I feel that I have only scratched the service on this, yet have found The Kirkwood Chamber has been a great place to start. It is from the events that the follow up one on one meetings are set, future events are planned, and relationships formed. I may sound dangerously old fashioned in saying so, but I certainly place more value in personal relationships formed through community events as opposed to social media forums.

As a part of my business, I am regularly in a position to make referrals to my clients inquiring about a wide-range of various business services. My involvement in the chamber has allowed me to grow my rolodex into a great resource for those around me. It is through regular attendance and participation that I have been able to know, like, and trust fellow chamber businesspeople that I can refer to. I look forward to every chamber event as an opportunity to strengthen and grow my network.
