Two Students Elected To Board Of Regents for Higher Education
Two students have been elected by their peers to serve on the Board of Regents for Higher Education, bringing the new board to full strength. Alex Tettey Jr. of Manchester Community College and Michael Fraser of Western Connecticut State University were elected by a student advisory committee to the Board of Regents. Both Tettey and Fraser will be voting members.

MCC Foundation Awards 143 student scholarships
The Manchester Community College Foundation awarded $118,250 in scholarships to 143 students for the 2012 spring semester. The Scholarship Reception was held on Thursday, December 8 and those attending included students, their families, faculty, staff, donors and members of the MCC Foundation Board. Snow Angels/Criminal Justice Toy Drive
Toys are still being accepted for the Snow Angels Toy Drive. Santa will be delivering the toys on Saturday, December 17. Donations can be dropped off or a pick up arranged. Contact Donna Nicholson at x2756 with any questions.

Winter Arts Festival
December 16, 2011, 6:00 PM, SBM Charitable Foundation Building & Great Path Community Commons
The Winter Arts Festival features work presented by Fine Arts students and vocal and musical performances by Music students. Student films will also be presented. Please also join us to honor the Writing Contest Awards Winners.
