Please join us for the screening of our third film of the Fall 2011 International Film Series, Biutiful.
Biutiful (Mexico/Spain) - Biutiful is a love story between a father and his children. His livelihood is earned by sustaining a number of illegal rackets, including human trafficking. His sacrifices for his children know no bounds. Like life itself, this is a circular tale that ends where it begins. Javier Bardem stars and was nominated for 2011 Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role. The film was also nominated for Best Foreign Language Film. Spanish. 148 mins.
All films to be shown at 7pm in the SBM Charitable Foundation Auditorium. Free admission. Contact either Evelyn Angry-Smith (860.512.2874) or Bob Kagan (860.512.2687) with questions.
