In 1988 when Brett Dawson first met his future wife, he shared with her that he was enticed equally
by the worlds of business and law. In addition, he knew that he wanted to assist others - from a business/legal perspective. Making the decision to become a business lawyer who runs his own
firm has allowed Brett to fulfill all three aspects.
Brett made the decision to start his own firm several years ago when his children were small. Working a 12-hour-a-day routine that never allowed him to see his children when they were awake, or to enjoy quality time with his wife, was taking its toll. (more)

Jim Costello, Director of Economic Development for the Town of Penfield, will present the current state of economic development in Penfield as well as what is on the horizon. Each of Penfield's business districts will be discussed during the presentation and there will be opportunity for Q&A at the end.
We will acknowledge past Business of the Month recipients and present the Penfield Pride Award.
This is the PBA's Annual Meeting and elections for our Board of Directors will be held. Only current PBA members may vote. Please make sure your are current on your dues prior to the event so that you can vote. New member applications and renewal forms will be available at the door.

Networking made easy. Don't let the idea of networking intimidate you. Speed networking offers a twist on the typical
meet-and-greet, an organized succession of brief conversations among participants that allows you to talk briefly with 20 or
more people over the course of the evening. Participants should bring a stack of their own business cards and be prepared
with a brief pitch about yourself and your business. Limit of two employees from a company: space is limited. Participants
must be present at the entire event.
Free parking in RBA lot located behind the building off Andrews Street. The yellow gate will open when you approach, we will provide the exit code.

PBA Event Reservation Payment Notice
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your incredible support in attending our events! We appreciate your enthusiasm and participation in our workshops, networking and community events. In the past, the PBA has absorbed any expense for members who registered for events but were unable to attend for various reasons. Unfortunately the cost for holding events has increased and it has become necessary for us to change this practice. Going forward, the PBA will need to charge you for any reservation you are unable to fulfill unless we receive a cancellation notice 48 hours prior to the event. We are sensitive to the fact that last minute schedule challenge occur and we encourage you to send a substitute in your place if you find yourself unable to attend. For all PBA meetings requiring reservations and a meeting fee, we have always extended a "pay at the door" option to our members and guests and will continue to do so.Recently, we added the option to pay by credit/debit card via PayPal on the PBA website. This option will continue to be available as well. Again, thank you for your tremendous support! We look forward to seeing you at our upcoming events!
