Dear (Contact First Name),
I want to start by wishing all the Mothers out there a very Happy Mother's Day! We're celebrating women the entire month of May here at the office! As women we wear many hats in the course of one day. You wake up and you wear the "Mommy" hat, packing lunches and sending children off to school, then you dash off to work (after throwing yourself together in fifteen minutes), to work a full day wearing the "leader hat", the "I can fix anything" hat, the "middle man" hat. After a long day you rush to the grocery store with the "Mommy" and "Wife" hat on to grab stuff to make dinner. You pick up the kids and take them to sports or dance class. Finally you get home only to make dinner, do the dishes, and clean up the house; maybe you put on a "Teacher" hat while checking homework, then it's off to the bath and bedtime stories. Then it's the back to the "Wife" hat for a few hours. You do a marvelous job juggling the hats, but let me ask you this....when do you wear the "Me" hat? How often do you even think about that anymore? Often times I hear "well everyone else comes before me". While I can fully understand the giving, selfless nature most of us women have, I also want to stress the importance of taking care of you. Because in all honesty what good to your family or your job or your friends are you if you get sick or injure yourself doing something simple (like picking up your child for a hug). The answer to that is you are no good! Please remember to take care of yourself and remember to celebrate the wonderful woman you are! You're really good at multi-tasking; you've proved that so what's adding one more thing to the list! For all the men reading this newsletter this week...we're not neglecting you, we're just paying homage to the wonderful women in your life, your mom, your wife and your daughters. You'll get your chance next month! Hat's off to you women!!

As you clean your homes of unwanted items, spring is a great time to do the same for your body.We are in contact with many toxins on a daily level. These toxins are in our foods, environment and water. There are 80,000 toxins registered with the Centers for Disease Control that are part of daily life are eliminated by the liver, kidneys, stomach, bowels, and more- 24 hours per day. When the organs of detoxification become sluggish, toxins circulate around in the blood stream, resulting in disease- be it chronic fatigue, extra weight,or something more serious as cancer. At the Chiropractic Center we have a program that is easy to follow and 100 percent natural. The program lasts 21 days and will make a difference in your health. We are what we eat. |
