We are a group of avid anglers dedicated to promoting responsible fishing techniques such as selective harvest and catch and release. We believe that fishing and conservation should go hand in hand. GreenFish is where the two meet.

New Ambassadors  GreenFish has 2 new Ambassadors that we are very excited to have on our team... Jeff Krieger is known as one of the original, modern day kayak anglers. Jeff started guiding in 1990. He guides kayak fishing adventures from entry level to advanced in the Los Angeles-Santa Barbara area, Catalina Island, as well as his yearly groups trip to Central California and a annual trip back to the Hawaiian Islands where he guides pre-booked clients. Featured in two episodes of the Inside Sportfishing television show, Threshers Yak Style and Marlin from the Kayak, Jeff is also featured in the book, "Kayak Fishing the Revolution", by Ken Daubert.
Waterman and Professional Adventure Guide Chris Mautino grew up an avid surfer, fisherman and free-diver in Southern California and Baja. Drawn to all things "ocean" and always keen to explore different ways to have fun in the water has lead Chris to endless adventures. He's worked as an elite kayak and fishing guide in Mexico, Colorado, the Bahamas, Alaska, California and Western Samoa. A degree in Fisheries Biology is a good compliment to his outdoor guiding skills. |
Recycled Fish - Our New GreenFish Gives Partner 
GreenFish is very proud to announce a new relationship with Recycled Fish. We have added them to our GreenFish Gives program, so buyers of GreenFish products can now select Recycled Fish as a donor when placing an order with us.
Recycled Fish is the national non-profit organization of "anglers living a Lifestyle of Stewardship both on and off the water, because Our Lifestyle Runs Downstream."
On the water, we promote the S.A.F.E. Angling concept - "Sustaining Angling, Fish and Ecosystems." It's the practices and products we can use to live as stewards when we're on the water. It's non-toxic and biodegradable tackle, single barbless hooks, and it's cleaning up trash when we find it. It's not just Catch and Release, Selective Harvest is part of living as a steward on the water, too.

Well, we launched GreenFish last fall and it's been quite an adventure! We are very happy to see the progress to date and are even more happy to see the amazing amount of support and belief in our mission. Our Ambassador team is growing, we recently hit 1,000 Facebook fans, and our customer base is growing.
Thank you all for your support. We love to see the progress we are making, and love to see how many people already practice responsible and sustainable fishing! Looking forward to seeing your photos come in with your GreenFish gear being worn proud while fishing or releasing your fish.
