Dear Friend,
Summer solstice already! Time for celebration! It's been an awesome month so far at merge. We are loving the summer weather, the patio & live music has been rockin' and we're cooking up some really fun and fresh meals.
Next week we'll have our SMOOTHIES back!!! We'll a smoothie of the day as well as some of the fan favorites from last year. (Circulation Enhancer, Power Up!)
The farm is really blossoming and we're starting to harvest with some radishes and greens. (See farm photos below!)
We have a fantastic art show up right now featuring It's all paintings/drawings/sketches of women hula hooping... you've got to check it out how he captures the motion, sensuality, and joy of hooping! Show will be up until July 8th.  
In fact, come see Jon paint live hoopers THIS Sunday in the merge parking lot we're having a Bon Voyage party for the dreamy Evan Thompson. Ladies swoon, he's moving to Thailand! All funds will go toward a school he volunteered at last year in Burma.

SHOREWOOD FARMS
What's up, down on the farm...
That's right, we've started an organic farm for the restaurant!As we get more and more into the local food movement we can't help but want to jump right in and get our hands dirty! So we're starting a little farm of our own in Lake View, NY.
Our intention is to grow our own organic heirloom herbs and vegetables so that throughout the year we can daily we can harvest and bring in unique and specialized elements to add to your dishes here at merge. We are also growing a large field of wildflowers which will add to the decor on the tables at merge throughout the summer.We are starting small, but we will begin keeping chickens in our city home beginning this fall to learn the trials involved in having backyard fresh eggs.  Of course we are still working with many other local organic farms to deliver you the highest quality produce that makes all our dishes exceptional including Oles Farm, Lyman Hill, Arden Farms, & Thunder Mountain.
