Welcome to the March issue of Wake Up! You’re Snoring… On Saturday March 3, the National Sleep Foundation’s 2012 Sleep in America® poll was released. The survey is the first of its kind to ask transportation workers, including airline pilots, train operators, truck, taxi, limo and bus drivers, about their sleep habits and work performance.
As you will read, the results are a bit startling, and bring to light the growing need for the proper diagnosis and treatment of sleep disorders. In this issue, we share the results of the study, as well as some common symptoms of sleep disorders.
If you or someone you know is suffering from sleep problems, we encourage you to schedule an appointment with Eos Sleep. We hope you find the articles informative, and ask you to please forward the newsletter to anyone you know who might find it useful.
Sincerely,
Dr. Volpi & the Team
