Welcome to the December issue Wake Up! In this issue, we provide you with two new studies related to snoring and sleep apnea. Loud snoring is now looked at as a predictor of metabolic syndrome, the group of factors that can indicate whether someone is at risk for cardiovascular disease. Plus, an interesting new study suggests that the use of CPAP actually improves the memory of OSA patients that are treated with it. We hope you find this issue informative, and encourage you to seek medical treatment if you’re suffering from the symptoms of snoring or sleep apnea. If you have a question or comment, we’d love to hear from you, and as always welcome your feedback.
