Hello all,

I'd like to remind you about the LONDON PEN SHOW, happening this weekend in Kensington.  Click on the link to be taken to the website, which will give you all the details and see a picture of me at last year's event (bottom right, grinning insanely).  I'll be there, and will have some special offers on  some very special pens.  If you're anywhere near, and can drag yourself out of the sunshine (maybe the cool will be attractive!) do come and see me - and lots of other joys for those interested in pens!

New Van Gogh from Visconti!

Our friends at Visconti seem to have done it again with the release of the new Van Gogh series.

New Van Gogh
Available as fountain pen, ballpoint, rollerball, fountainroller and pencil, it uses some of the most beautiful resins I've seen. Inspired by three of his greatest paintings - The Room at Arles, Sunflowers and Starry Night - the swirling colours reflect the great mans passion for beauty.  Priced between £160 - 180, and presented in a beautiful gift box, they're a worth addition to a terrific range.

To see the full range, and enjoy Visconti's description, go to the

Our many websites...

www.writeherekitenow.co.uk is the original site, and the one where you will find our ever growing selection of pens.

www.writeherekites.co.uk  is the place for kites and, sooner or later, juggling stuff.

www.writeheretoys.co.uk is the place for Holztiger wooden toys and Folkmanis puppets.

www.writeheregames.co.uk is where you'll find games, puzzles and all sorts.

All will look reassuringly familiar, and there are links at the bottom of each page on each site to all the other sites, so you can get from one to the other.  So have a look!

Pelikan M1005 Demonstrator
Pelikan M1005
Pelikan M1005
From sumptuous resins to - well, total transparency!  The much anticipated Pelikan M1005 has arrived, and in spite of it's apparent lack of substance, really does not disappoint.  Showing the innerM1005 beauty workings of the renowned differential piston filling system (pretty much unchanged since Pelikan inroduced it in 1927) it is a thing of beauty, better appreciated in actuality than photography!

The nib is rhodium plated 18 carat gold, all metal parts are palladium coated and the barrel has been polished and cleaned until it is perfectly translucent.  Based on the M1000, it is a large pen with substantial heft.

What, you may be wondering, does it look like with ink in it?  This might give you an idea Here!  Notice how the ink doesn't seem to adhere to the barrel of the pen;  it looks as if this pen will keep its good looks!

New at Write Here

We're always trying to increase your pen buying pleasure at Write Here, and with this in mind will be introducing two new ranges in the near future.  Firstly, I've been impressed by a new offering from Italian company Montegrappa.
Montegrappa Parola
Montegrappa Parola
It's not going to be too expensive, and you've got to admit it looks great.

Secondly, to retain our carefully judged Italo / Germanic balance, you might have noticed that we've greatly expanded our range of Faber Castell pens and pencils, and are looking forward to getting lots of drawing and colouring stuff for kids within the next week or two.

Even more to write about - here!
