Dear ,
The trouble with summer is that it doesn't get started and then it's finished. A cheery Shropshire saying is that when the Flower Show ends (2nd weekend in August) so does summer, and I've got to say I've noticed the evenings drawing in...
We're filling up with diaries, calendars and all that sort of stuff, so if it's not too early, come and get it. There are still a few of the excellent Leuchtturm academic year diaries left - August 2011 to December 2012.
We've also got some great stuff for those of you fortunate enough to be heading back to school - pens, of course, but notebooks, files, paper trays and so forth - come and have a look.
Pen wise, we've broadened our range a little - more news of that below.
Best wishes
John

Pelikan Land!
| | Pelikan 205 Highlighter |
We have long been fans of thisiconic brand of fountain pens, and have decided to take the plunger. Literally, as one of the things we like best about them is that most are piston fillers, as opposed to cartridge / converter pens.
We also like the fact that their flagship range, the Souveran, come in a range of sizes from the tiny M300 to the overpowering M1000. As well as this, they have a classic look all of their own. There's even more to like - the nib is one of the best.
As well as large and small, they do expensive and inexpensive: the RRP of the M1000 is £400, but you can get a super little M150 for about £40. Have a look at the website Here or pop into the shop some time.
And do have a look at the pen we've illustrated - a highlighting, piston filling, demonstrator. What will they think of next!

Our many websites...
www.writeherekitenow.co.uk is the original site, and the one where you will find our ever growing selection of pens.
www.writeherekites.co.uk is the place for kites and, sooner or later, juggling stuff.
www.writeheretoys.co.uk is the place for Holztiger wooden toys and Folkmanis puppets.
www.writeheregames.co.uk is where you'll find games, puzzles and all sorts.
All will look reassuringly familiar, and there are links at the bottom of each page on each site to all the other sites, so you can get from one to the other. So have a look!

Conway Stewart 100 Special Offer
 | | Conway Stewart 100 | Some of you will have fond memories of the Conway Stewart 100 series - a medium sized, medium weight pen that formed the basis of their range a few years ago. We recently sold one of the last 100s made of Casien to a customer in the United States, to his and our delight.
They'll still make you a 100 - but at a premium of £100, so their introduction of a time limited offer of the 100 at an RRP of £305 will be widely welcomed by collectors and those wanting a top quality pen you're not afraid to use. We're offering the pen to our customers at the very special price of £275.
It is available in a range of nib sizes from fine to double broad, with fine, medium and broad italics available as well. And I can't begin to tell you the colours available. Well, I could, but there are over 30, so you're bound to find something you like.
But you'll have to hurry - some of the colours are already sold out, and the offer closes on the 30th September. Click here to be whisked to the website to learn more. |

And finally....
We had a splendid holiday in the far north, and can strongly recommend the Northern Isles, providing you don't need sunshine with your stunning coastlines and seascapes. We're heading a bit further south for our next outing, to Seville this time.
And before you know what has happened, it will be time for the London Pen Show again - October 2nd, Kensington Town Hall.
