WELCOME CHAMBER MEMBERS and GUESTS
Happy New Year! 2009 was a good year, but I look forward to an even better 2010. We have so much to look forward to... Our upcoming Texas Hold'em Tournament, the new Miss Orangevale Chamber of Commerce Pageant, our annual Pow Wow Days, the unforgettable Brew Fest, the Honorary Mayor's race, and more. All of these events help support many great causes; different charities, new office equipment (that is long overdue), and other chamber improvements.
Just as important, Orangevale Chamber of Commerce has other great networking opportunities; networking breakfasts, monthly business mixers, and many committees to join. We invite you to bring your business cards and share a little about yourself and what you do.
2010 is sure to bring many changes. We've already enhanced our Chamber newsletter and broken a few records last year. Our success is owed to you, the members and supporters that take pride in our Chamber and our Community. For this, we say Thank You! The Board of Directors are looking forward to working with our membership and community to continue finding ways to improve quality of life for all.
Please stay tuned for the release of our new and improved Chamber website. We encourage you to utilize this tool as it will provide you with valuable information for your business and personal life.

Texas Hold'em Tournament
Come on down and join the Orangevale Chamber of Commerce for our Second Annual Texas Hold 'em Tournament on Saturday January 30th! Held at the Orangevale Grange at 5807 Walnut Ave. in Orangevale, the event is a whole lot of fun.
Tickets are $50.00 per person and we'll have professional tables and dealers. 1st place prize is $500, 2nd place is $300, 3rd is $100 and 4th through 8th place is $50.00 gift card.
Doors open at 6 pm and games start at 7pm. We are gladly accepting prizes for the fundraising raffle and you can sponsor a table for only $150.00. Table sponsorship includes one buy-in, table signage on every table, acknowledgements in the Chamber newsletters, and mention on all event signage. Folsom Lake Appliance, Beverly Ramm from Kraft Real Estate, and Bob Clouse Insurance have already secured the first three table sponsors. Come and join us for a night of fun!
