| Folsom Turkey Trot 2009 |

Join us for this wonderful family oriented Folsom tradition on Thanksgiving morning. All donations and a portion of proceeds will benefit our local community including Twin Lakes Food Bank and the Never In Our Town Youth Scholarship. Last year we raised over $23,000!
We are aslo having a food and clothing drive, so please look through your closets and pantries for donations!
WHAT: 5K Run/Walk & 10K Run
WHEN: Thanksgiving morning. 10K at 8:50, 5K at 9:50am. Rain or Shine!
WHERE: Folsom Parkway Trails (corner of Blue Ravine & N Parkway in Folsom).
COST: $20 early Registration or $25 after Nov 12th. (Entry includes free t-shirt). |

| New Chamber Hours |
 |
Effective January 4th, 2010 The Orangevale Chamber will have new office hours. The change is being made to give consistency to members and guests using our services. As we grow, we hope this will be beneficial to all. The new hours will be Monday thru Friday from 10am to 2pm.
Although we are excited about the changes and growth we expect to see in 2010, we are very sad to announce CindySue Jones resignation of Office Manager. CindySue (and her entire family) has put in many, many hours and helped this Chamber enormously in her 3 years with us. We appreciate everything CindySue has done and will be sad to see her go. Her shoes will be hard to fill, but we will be accepting applications for employment. Please email OVChamber@sbcglobal.net if you are interested in more information.

Moving on to recent news... I, on behalf of The Orangevale Chamber of Commerce would like to send a warm welcome to our newest board of director, Don Kolstrup, of SaveMart Supermarkets! We are excited to have Don apart of the board and look forward to working with him in the future. Don has sponsored many events in the past and will be a great asset to the board. If you are interested in volunteering your time to the chamber, we would love to hear from you.

Pow Wow Days Meeting
We would like to invite you to the first Orangevale Community Information Orientation for the 4th Annual POW WOW Days.
Pow Wow Days is an annual 4 day event hosted by the Orangevale Chamber of Commerce in coordination with the Orangevale Recreation and Park District. This exciting, family event offers service groups of all types the ability to participate in community service, raise funds for their organizations, and to build community awareness.
It is our goal to again mobilize volunteers from local organizations to serve the community and to raise funds for your causes by supporting Pow Wow Days and the wonderful community of Orangevale.
Come join us and learn more!
The Orangevale Community Information Orientation meeting will provide you detailed information on how you and your organization can benefit by being a part of this year's activities.
