Track Upper Makefield Census Participation Online

In mid-March every household in Upper Makefield should have received a census questionnaire. All completed census materials should have been mailed back on Friday, April 16. If you didn't participate in the 2010 Census, you may receive a visit by census workers who will begin visiting homes that did not respond. This effort will wrap up in mid-July, and by the fall the Census Bureau will begin tabulating the official numbers.

Stay up-to-date with Upper Makefield's participation rate online at the 2010 Census website. As of this eNews Upper Makefield had 83% participation.

Upper Makefield is appreciative of everyone that participated in the 2010 Census because accuracy of the information is critical in determining:
  • Congressional seats to states
  • Allocation of $400 billion in federal funds to local governments

See Your Buy-A-Brick at Brownsburg Park
Brownsburg Park
If you participated in the Buy-A-Brick fundraiser for park improvements, pavilion construction, and additions to the community playground, come out to Brownsburg Park this spring and see your engraved brick along sidewalks.

Thanks to $50 donations from residents (cost of brick & name engraving), free design by Stephen Balaam, and free installation services by J. Marrazzo Landscaping, our parks are looking better than ever.

It's not too late to get involved with the Buy-A-Brick campaign! The brick installation was designed to have the ability to add more bricks each season.

Download a brick order form online at our recreation page.
