Makefield Fire Company Carnival Monday, May 10 to Friday, May 14 6 to 10
p.m. Saturday, May 15 Noon to 5 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Washington Crossing State Park Grab tickets, and take the whole family to spend a night of fun at the Upper
Makefield Fire Company Carnival. Ride the Ferris wheel, eat cotton candy, or
have a whirl on the merry-go-round. There will be fun for all!
30th Annual Revolutionary Run Sunday, July 4 Washington Crossing
Lace up your running shoes, and head out for a patriotic 1 Mile Fun Run, 5K

is our second monthly issue, part of our efforts to improve our

Earth Day Celebration: April 24, 2010 Brownsburg Park 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

 Bring your bike, Frisbee, picnic lunch, or just your walking
shoes, and celebrate Earth Day with the Upper Makefield Environmental Advisory
Council on Saturday, April 24, rain or shine. Enjoy environmental exhibits,
seminars, and demonstrations, and bring the kids to see the animals!

Track Upper Makefield
Census Participation Online
In mid-March every household in
Upper Makefield should have received a census questionnaire. All completed
census materials should have been mailed back on Friday, April 16. If you
didn't participate in the 2010 Census, you may receive a visit by census
workers who will begin visiting homes that did not respond. This effort will
wrap up in mid-July, and by the fall the Census Bureau will begin tabulating the
official numbers.

See Your Buy-A-Brick at
Brownsburg Park
|  If you participated in the
Buy-A-Brick fundraiser for park improvements, pavilion construction, and
additions to the community playground, come out to Brownsburg Park this spring
and see your engraved brick along sidewalks.
Thanks to $50 donations from residents (cost of brick &
name engraving), free design by Stephen Balaam, and free installation services
by J. Marrazzo Landscaping, our
parks are looking better than ever.
It's not too late to get involved with the Buy-A-Brick
campaign! The brick installation was designed to have the ability to add more
bricks each season.

Wednesday, April 21
The Board of Supervisors will
meet on Wednesday, April 21 at 7:30 p.m. to discuss advertising the
Eagle Road drainage project, conditional use hearing for the PHMC Visitors
Center, and the Washington Crossing Inn Zoning Hearing Board application.
