Mayslake Ministries welcomes you to a special "On Holiday with God" Tour. Door County, WI is our destination. Known as the Cape Cod of the Midwest, this tour will feature some of God's richest delights just in time for the fall season. This tour is designed to combine a retreat experience, including scripture, prayer, music, and reflection with the joys of travel. Each day has a theme with the idea of drawing closer to God with each destination and experience. Mayslake Ministries affliate staff member, Suzette Horyza will be the retreat/ tour director. Day 1

Theme: Inspiration

We'll begin our day with lunch at the Lighthouse Inn on majestic Lake Michigan. We'll take a guided tour of St. Lawerence's Church in Stangelville, WI. The wonder of this magnifcent church built by Czech immigrants in the 1800's will demonstrate how God's inspiration lives in all of us. We'll then check into the beautiful Stone Harbor Resort located on the water, just steps away from downtown Sturgeon Bay. There will be free time for reflection before we head to dinner at the Nightingale Supper Club. It will be the end of an inspiring day.

Day 2

Theme: Fruitfulness

This day begins with a treat of breakfast at AL John's in Sister Bay. The delightful Swedish breakfast is a reminder of God's fruitful bounty. You might even get a peek at the famous goats on the roof! There'll be time to explore Sister Bay. Then we'll tour the Door County Penninsula, and time to shop at the Seaquist Farm, a visit to Northport, a drive through Penninsula State Park, and a visit to breathtaking Cave Point. We'll have some time for reflection here. We'll also visit the Bjorklunden Chapel for a guided tour. Our day will end with a traditional Door County fish boil in Ephraim. Then back for a night's rest at the Stone Harbor Resort.

Day 3

Theme: Reflection

This day begins with a relaxing morning at the resort before we head out for a lunch cruise on the Harbor Lady. This cruise will take us on serene Sturgeon Bay. We'll be able to enjoy the beauty of Door County from the water as we reflect on all of its majesty while enjoying a delicious lunch. We'll then head home with memories of our stay in a place of God's wonder.
