Swearing In

Stacey

January 10, 2011 - Many Georgians will remember that day as the great Snow Day of 2011!  For me, it's the day I was officially sworn in to serve as your State Representative.  I appreciate my husband Andrew trekking through the snow to be with me as I took the oath of office.

NAACP - MLK Day Event

While some counties decided to make up a snow day by holding classes on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day this year, I'm proud that Cobb County honored Dr. King by continuing to observe the day of service.  The young people of Cobb County honored Dr. King's legacy with song, dance, music, and words at the annual Cobb County NAACP MLK celebration.  I was thrilled to attend along with many of Cobb's state and local leaders, including Cobb County Manager Daivd Hankerson and fellow freshman legislator from Cobb David Wilkerson.
Chief of Staff
