Count-down to Grand Opening

Greetings!

We may not have ruby red slippers like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz, but we're clicking our heels together, and repeating the words, "There's no place like home." Construction on Brogie's Tavern is moving right along and we're counting down the days to our Grand Opening. Close your eyes and just imagine sitting in the midst of beautiful mountain scenery where your cares evaporate on contact with the clean air. Old-fashioned hospitality is dished out in abundance right along with that superb meal and special dessert that just melted in your mouth. No, you haven't gone somewhere over the rainbow, but you have arrived at Brogie's Tavern, where folks make you feel right at home. So, if you're as excited as we are about the prospect of something new, something exciting in a dining experience about to launch, bang your fork and spoon together and repeat after me, "Brogie's is coming, Brogie's is coming."

In a word, FAMILY. table settingBrogie's Tavern is family-owned and family operated. The concept and name are based on family. We believe that when you combine the ingredients of good food, good service and good times the finished dish is hard to resist. How do we know it works?  Just generations of putting the philosophy and the recipes that go along with it into practice.

Most often the true test of a successful recipe is in the details. Since our first newsletter, we've had a lot of inquiries about the opening date, the menu, the chef, the personnel, the facility. We are very happy with the positive feedback, well-wishes and enthusiasm that have been expressed on our forthcoming open. 
 
 
Although we're still in the process of physical construction, our concept and organization have been in process for over two years. Key members of our staff have been on board since day one of concept being placed on a blueprint. It is our sincere wish that the days, months and years of planning will be evident as you walk through the doors of Brogie's Tavern for the first time and experience the meal that's placed on your table and the degree of courtesy and professionalism exhibited by our staff.  
 
Our team is growing. Our menu is designed to satisfy a wide variety of taste buds. We like to describe it as "southern cooking with a flair."  We do have plans to publish our menu as we get closer to our opening date. So, please encourage your friends to join our mailing list in order to get all of the details first-hand and a video tour of the facility prior to the open. Our target date for open is October 2009.
