This fall, a new restaurant will open its doors in Basye, Virginia which is located in the beautiful, historic Shenandoah Valley. If you're looking for a casual dining/entertainment experience where the food is great, the atmosphere is friendly and the service is exceptional then Brogie's Tavern is the place for you.
Brogie's Tavern will feature a menu of moderately priced "comfort" food mainly influenced by southern cooking traditions and time honored recipes. In order to maintain a sense of comfort and tradition, the design of Brogie's Tavern is based on the original structure of the two-story country colonial which occupied the property for many decades and became a landmark to local residents as well as regular visitors who come to enjoy the year round activities that are available at nearby Bryce Resort.
Brogie'sTavern is named in memory of a very special man affectionately known as "Brogie" by friends and family. He enjoyed good food, good folks and the magic that happens when you combine the two.
Brogie's Tavern aspires to capture that spirt in its design and method of operation.
We want you to come back again and again and tell your friends that you not only had a good meal, you had a GREAT TIME!
We're open to ideas...
Historically, taverns have served a multitude of purposes. A tavern was more than just a place to get a meal or quench your thirst. It was a central meeting place for the local community as well as a place that provided a welcome and relaxing environment for visitors and travelers. Although time has marched on, the idea of providing a service that addresses the interests of a community has not. We have lots of plans and lots of space in order to make your experience at Brogie's Tavern memorable. But, we'd like to know the type of things you'd like to see at our new establishment.
