Why it is important to buy fair trade

When you buy something with the Fair Trade
Certified[TM] label it guarantees that farmers and
workers received a fair price for their product.

The Fair Trade label also guarantees safe working conditions, direct market access, community development, democratic decision-making, sustainable farming methods and environmental protections.
As a consumer you have the power to make a difference in peoples lives by the choices you make when you shop.

WE ONLY serve FAIR TRADE organic coffee at City Feed.
Look for the Fair Trade certified label posted around the store on: bulk coffee, tea, cocoa, Chai, vanilla extract, honey, sugar, bananas, cookies, ice cream, soda, energy drinks, Kombucha beverages and more!

Ask for Fair Trade wherever you shop.
You have the power to make a difference!

Equal Exchange is a worker owned co-op with headquarters and coffee roasting facilities in Bridgewater, Massachusetts.
Their founders: Rink Dickinson, Jonathan Rosenthal and Michael Rozyne pioneered Fair Trade practices in the U.S. starting right here in Boston.

For over 20 years, Equal Exchange has been committed to paying a fair price to farmers organized in democratically run cooperatives, and has encouraged ecologically sustainable farming practices. They support small-scale farmers through direct, long lasting relationships based on trust and respect.

City Feed has served Equal Exchange Fair Trade organic coffee to Jamaica Plain since we got started on Boylston Street back in 2000! & WE ARE PROUD OF IT.

Come on in and try the best cup of coffee in town.
We brew it up strong and it is delicious!
