"Building Bridges" Art Celebration & Auction, Oct. 6
The Arc's 11th Annual Gala ONLY Two Weeks Away

Strawberry Milk CowIf you haven't already, get your tickets to "Building Bridges" Art Celebration & Auction today. The event is almost SOLD OUT, so please contact Randi Knight to secure your spot.

This year's event honors Steve Fenoglio who has been dedicated to our cause for the past 24 years.

"Strawberry Milk Cow" by Stephen R. (pictured above) is one of two original art pieces from the Arc of the Arts in the LIVE Auction. The other piece, "Cherry Blossoms II" by Joshua is shown below. There will be more than 150 professionally framed art pieces from Arc artists and professionals too, making this "THE art event to attend in Austin."

Other auction items include an Austin's Pets Alive! rescue puppy, Free Pizza for a Year from Austin's Pizza, and trips to Chicago, Napa Valley, New Orleans, San Diego, San Francisco and South Beach, Fla.

Stephen R., Board Member Ed Clements, Alicia Baron, Marketing & Events Coordinator at The Arc of the Capital Area and Jana A. present Ben Crenshaw the original painting of the Master's flag. Ben won the Masters in 1984 and 1995 -- just days after his mentor Harvey Penick passed away.

Celebrate the passion, love and great achievements of all artists with and without disabilities. With more than 100 pieces of professionally framed artwork, numerous
exciting auction packages and a prestigious dinner & awards ceremony, "Building Bridges" has become "the must attend art event in Austin."  "Cherry Blossoms II" by Joshua will also be in the LIVE Auction.

Charity Bash 
Nov. 11, TBD
CharityBash aims to inspire and influence young professionals to be more philanthropic. By donating a small amount of money each month, CharityBash hopes for financial giving to become habit, ultimately redefining Austin's low ranking as 48th out of the 50 largest cities in the nation per capita giving. There November event will benefit The Arc of the Capital Area, New Milestones Foundation and Imagine Art. Stay tuned for more details.

The Arc of Texas hosts a Household Recycling Program. You can donate gently used household items you no longer want or need.

Since 1972, they have partnered with
Thrift Town
(5700 Manchaca Road). The Arc of the Capital Area receives a portion of these proceeds.
